The Heidestroper is named after my grandfather who after WW II (because of the food shortage), poached in this area mainly to hares and rabbits. He also walked via the Groote Heide and Leenderheide to Belgium (Achelse Kluis), this was a well-known smuggling route just after the war. It is therefore very special that so many years later I can live in this place.<\/p>

After living for 25 years in the city center of Utrecht, it was time for a new place near nature \u00e1nd near the center of Eindhoven. Together with my partner we bought this house in 2018 and because of the space, the step to start our own B&B was a logical choice for us. I have completed the hotel school and the school for nutrition and dietetics. After this I worked for 15 years as a dietician in nutritional research. I like to cook, hike, read, travel and play tennis.<\/p>
